Healing a sick crab

Post by Wai »

Are there any particular foods you can feed an ill hermit crab to help them recover? I don't mean 'pre-molt' but actually sick and inactive. Anyone got some ideas?

Natural honey with spirulina or irish moss powder are good options.

I fed my sick crab ground dried mango and walnut. He didn't recover, but he did eat quite a bit.
I know you asked about food, but I want to mention that exercise also seemed to do quite a bit of good. I let him out to roam the living room floor and he seemed to perk up a bit because of it.
