Today I was watching Spiderman as once again he is changing his shell. Every time I put a shell in the tank he goes in that one. Well I watched him tonight in the darkness and his BUTT area is white and big and looks bigger than the way it usually looks normally like smallest part of body. This looked like he was dragging along a white laundry bag. His eyes are clear, he eats daily and his feet could have white tips on at least one or two. He is very active, good antenna activity and likes to move around. Should I get a nice bottle of soda to place around him? I dont have the ISO tank near ready and the conditions in this tank seem perfect for him. I see he socializes with little Popeye and I would like to know where the sack is that the molt is suppose to be. Please help, I am worried.
Look at this stupid person! If the crab lived after this video was posted, I will be shocked. I saw several UTUBE videos and one was long and I could not even really understand what was where. But I do not think after seeing the colors and stuff that he is molting yet but maybe he is going in that direction. I use the Coconut substate and the humidity is great in there and warm. I am not sure what to make of him and certainly none of the symptoms are present and gee, just look at this video.... this person must be living in Florida because her tank has a cage top if you look at her room. Please comment or direct me to a correct picture video or picture of a crabs butt that is big.

My hermit crabs have fat abdomens too... so fat that they certainly wouldn't be able to fit them inside the shell that they originally came in. Perhaps they're well fed?
Oh yes, really well fed and happy too. None look llike this one that I posted the video of. And then I realized this is not Spiderman but its Hercules. Hercules saw Spiderman change shells yesterday and went right over and got into the shell Spiderman left. I think that Spiderman and him had WORDS. Thanks for coming in and answering for me.
