Suspected Moulting Crab, need help!
Well, i was sleeping when i woke up to see my crab had buried himself under his saturation. ( T-Rex brand forest/coconut crab bedding, 3-4inch. deep, for 2days he was buried, untill just now i hear nioses coming from his Glass Tank, but i cant see because he buried himself inside a crabitat rock cave, so i cant see whats going on, is it normal to make nioses when moulting, or should i just peek in and see? i didn't want to disturb him if he was moulting. Thanks!!
Hermit crabs have huge claws, more than 4 legs, 2 lil shiny eyes, and antennas, how couldn't you love them?

Please do not disturb him if he has burrowed. When a hermie does burrow to molt they will clean out an area (like a circle) to molt in also referred to many times as their 'nest'. So it is not unusual to hear them move about while they are doing this. Some hermies like to dig and just make tunnels throughout the substrate.
