A big crab and a little crab
I have had my smaller crabs for a while now but got Fezzik (what I think is between medium and large) recently. Today I moved them all into a nice new 40 long crabitat, and I'm seeing Fezzik smackin his antennae on one of the smaller ones. Now I dont see any claws coming out or anything like that, but I more or less would like a little info or reassurance on the happenings. Fezzik is a laid back personality this is the most outgoing I've seen him be since we got him. I'm guessing like I've read in past threads that it's a pecking order thing? Establishing his dominance or just plain ol' playing around curiosity? I'll definitely be keeping an eye on him to see if he gets aggressive.

Re: A big crab and a little crab
It's absolutely normal to see "antennae fights" among crabs as they establish their pecking order.
Since you aren't seeing any claws come out, things are probably absolutely fine. It's a good idea to watch them closely to make sure it doesn't escalate into something more physical, and generally they settle down pretty quickly. I had a similar situation with my crabs but my big one tumbled the smaller one over a couple of times, and booted him away another time. Since then, they've even been snuggling together. Go figure.
