WHAT IF THEY NEVER MOLT????

I have two...Crabbie Patty and Debbie that we have had since the end of March, they have not molted, nor do I see any signs of them planning to anytime soon! Then we have another, Rocky, that we have had for about three weeks now...same thing. And our smallest one Tiny we got about two weeks ago, and I thought for sure that she was this whole past week, so I put her in an ISO tank, and then today when she came up for food, she just never went back down. I felt bad, I didn't want her to get lonely so I just put her back into the big tank with everyone else! Do they usually come up for food and water when they are molting? I'm so confused!

Well I have had some that have not molted yet. Some of the bigger ones. They do not automatically molt as soon as you get them. When they are ready they will molt as long as your conditions are right. I have had one that went down to molt that left its shell buried came up got a new shell and then went back down to finish molting. I found the buried shell when I was deep cleaning and I accounted for all the hermit crabs.
