Blackstrap molasses can be bought at healthfood store, but around the holidays you can find it at any grocery store because people use it to bake molasses cookies and gingersnaps, etc. I think that the label should say that it is "UNSULFERATED" or some word like that.

Julia_Crab says that as a general rule, all cacti that is safe for humans is safe for crabs, so agave nectar should be safe for crabs. I also read that some agave syrup is made with sugar too, so make sure if you try it that you buy 100% Agave Nectar.

we've tried shrimp, chicken and then we gave up bc they were untouched the few times we've tried it. they love grapes, bananas and dried bloodworms.
