Ok i just got a New hermit crab n It was Fine when My Friend had in in the Morning and after she brought it too school it Kinda Just stayed in its Shell it was at School with Me for 7 hours N i had a Piece of apple i gave it from my lunch...It doesnt Smell at all...Is it Dieing or Is it Just scared to Come out?? PLEASE help me

p.s i think it might of came out a lil im not sure though

hermies are cuatious little things, well, some are at least. some times they just sit in their shells for an hour until they are sure it's safe to peek out. lol

LoL and thats Wht happen he stayed in his Shell for about 1 hour or 1 1.2 n then he came out

I get most to come out by placing them on my hand and then gently breathing on them. They almost always pop out.

i agree. they are tropical creatures and love the warm. giving them bathes also bring them out most of the time lol
