Using Natural Gemstones for Hermit Crabs?
So, I've heard about how putting natural gemstones in a dog's water can help with health issues (for instance, rose quartz helping with stress, or amber helping with fleas), and I was wondering if it would affect a hermit crab the same way? Would putting gemstones in my crabs' water pools be beneficial to their health?
Former owner of 5 crabbies, now of 3 (cannibalism issues

I doubt it; the gemstones may slowly dissolve in water over time and release potentially harmful minerals.
