Is filtered tap water okay?

hi, I have a filter on my tap that removes stuff from the water and my brother uses it in his fish tank.

is it safe?

Hi Daisy,

I don't know about Perth's tap water. Here in Melbourne it doesn't taste funny and I have bathed my hermit crabs in untreated warm tap water before, but for their drinking water, I always use bottled water. I guess it's one of those try at your own risk kind of things.

Hi Daisy! With all water (tap or bottled) you should use a dechlorinator such as Prime.
