spring vs distilled water
I thought I was supposed to use spring water. I just read to use distilled water. Can someone help me out and explain why spring water is bad? And cross your fingers that all the spring water I've used won't hurt my guys.

Re: spring vs distilled water
There is more variability between spring water brands. However, this does not mean that spring water cannot be used. I've been using spring water since I restarted crabbing again in 2008 without any issues.

Re: spring vs distilled water
Another late reply, sorry.
In Australia the guidelines are much better than here in the U.S. Just recently, there was a recall on spring water due to many contaminants being in the bottles. I have used distilled water here now since 2001, and the clan here are still alive and molting like crazy! (15 1/2 years later)
