Aloe Vera in water conditioner
Hello. I have just purchased a water conditioner from a tropical aquarium shop. It ticks all the boxes - removes chlorine, heavy metals etc. But I just now noticed it says it contains aloe Vera. I have read that aloe vera plants are dangerous for hermit crabs to eat. Is having it as an element of the tap water conditioner a danger also?? The brand is API stresscoat plus.

Re: Aloe Vera in water conditioner
You know I have never even read the ingredients on mine! Might have to check as I've not long changed brands.
What a weird thing to add, wonder why they have. No idea on if it's safe sorry.

Re: Aloe Vera in water conditioner
I have API stress coat as well, for my aquarium (but I use Prime for the crabs.) I know that the aloe-Vera aids in providing a slime coat for the fish, and is also is meant to soothe them.
