Aww... the cutest aren't they? seeing this topic reminded me of a quick question I have, I know that all of my little guys (or gals as I recently found) are pps but they all have different coloring! one is Lavender and always has been. another is brown and also seems to have lighter brown eyes than the rest. two look like the typical pp, red legs purple claw ect. and finally one is generally a tannish color, what I am wondering is, is it normal for pps to have such a variety of color?
I thought maybe there may be some sub specise of pp or somthing. IDK. in the years I have owned crabs they have had the same color since their first molt with me. I apreciate the variety my crabbies provide it is easy to tell them all apart.

Of course it is normal. I think besides diet, the environment and genetics also influences their exoskeleton colour.
