I'm so sorry for your loss! True, these pictures may be a bit disturbing, but i'm sure they'll help us learn more about them. And I don't mean to be insensitive or anything, and someone else can correct me if i'm wrong, but I think your hermit crab might have been a girl. I can see the two little dots on the back of his of her legs/abdomen. But once again, I'm truly very sorry for your loss.

Yea, she was a girl. I noticed the gonopores as well. I'm just glad she was able to get a nice comfy turbo shell before she passed.
