Franklin sitting very still

Well we lost Franklin, I was cleaning the tank and noticed a fishy smell so I slowly picked up Franklin to look at him and his eyes are glazed over and he is very much dead. I am so sad
I guess either he wsa trying to molt and died or the Stress got to him.

I some how have a sense that you feel quite certain Franklin passed, but do remember that "eyes glazed over" does not mean a dead hermit crab (this is for those who may not realize this, too).

Cloudy eyes are also a strong indicator of molting. Sometimes a molting crab will also give off a
"fishy smell" or other odd odor, and at times it can seem quite strong, so you don't want to write off an inactive crab too soon.

If the crab did not fall limply from his shell, and one did not double check to make sure not even an antennae twitched (and if you blink, you could miss it, as Ladybug always says!), you might want to just hold off a little longer to be 100% certain.

Again, I get the sense that perhaps you did check other symptoms, but didn't type them up here, but I did want to make that all clear for anyone reading this. A crab will have "glazed over" or cloudy eyes when he is molting, and the eyes begin to separate from the old exo.

And to add to CrabbyJo's great advice, even a hermie who is in the molting process can and will slide limply out of their shells due to not having the strength/muscle to hold onto it.
A hermies eyes will begin to look 'hollow' too, or be hollow when molted like this:
