So there is a new mall kiosk that recently opened in a mall that I live near by. You'll never gues what it is called...

It is far from a hermit crab paradise though.
The conditions are awful all of the hermit crabs are in painted shell and there is absolutely no substrate.
The woman working there couldn't speak much English at all. This girl kept asking for a hermit crab in a red shell and she must have picked up every colour except red. Also when I tried to explain that the hermit crabs were not being taken care of properly she said "hermit crab ten dollar, which one you want?". She also said the same thing to every person "hermit crab change shell all by itself today batman tomorrow spongebob, easy to take care of"
I really feel bad for the crabs there and really want to do something about it
but it was particularly hard to try and talk to this person cause they didn't understand what I was saying

How bad they shouldn't have use the name. this proves that hermit crab kiosk owners just like money they don't care about their customers and their crabs. >[

If you really wanted to, you could get some pictures that truly indicate what a good hermit crab habitat is like. Featuring a humidity gauge and thermometer that are at the correct readings, a sand substrate, a place to hide, etc.
You'd have to be really creative though. It would be like drawing a picture to get the information across to them. Keep in mind they most likely don't read English either. It may not be worth the trouble.
It's sad, there are so many hermit crabs that will die because of places like this.
it just makes me think of how many are being snatched out of the wild. I seem to remember, vaguely, an article about the decline in hermit crab populations in many areas because of them being harvested.
It's a tragedy.

Thanks for the advice, I will try my hardest to get them to understand.
It is very sad, I wish they could put all the hermit crabs back into the wildCrabbyJo wrote: It's sad, there are so many hermit crabs that will die because of places like this.
