Purple bubble in PPs shell, looks like claw: Molt Bubble?

Post by Salt and Pepper »

One of my PPs, my jumbos changed into a spare brown natrual shell today. While he was out peering around I lifted him. I noticed there was a purple bubble with white spots and dark "granules" I think it's called, behind the small 'leg' that holds him in his shell. I don't think it's his claw because he has 2 a small and large claws in the front where they're supposed to be. I don't think it's part of him because it's round and more distinguished from his body and abdomen. I thought this really strange. I wanted to see what it was and if it was a molt bubble. He hasn't been showing any molt signs though. Help please!

(I would get a picture but my camera's out a battery ^) I'm charging it!)
I love all my hermies! They are all PPs.

A picture would be good to make sure, but not necessary to upset the hermie. But if it is on his left side, it does sound like a molt sac.

It's.not.gray.like.that.It's.on.his.right.side,but.it.looked.like.the.same.side.as.yours!

*Edit:He.changed.back.into.his.regular.old.white.shell!.I.can't.tell.now,his.claw.is.closed.
He.is.not.very.active.lately-he.is.walking.very.slow.It.also.looks.like.his.legs.may.be.a.little.light,but.I.don't.know-maybe.he.had.that.all.along!

The coloring of the picture isn't the greatest either, plus it was a bit blurry. Usually what I have noted is on the hermies left side.
