O/T
Due to this not asking for help in ID'ing species which is what the Species topic forum is for, it has been moved to Chirp and Chat.

Re: A few new guys
ImCrabby, as we've tried to point out to you on a few occasions, just having pictures of the crab's general coloring will not allow you to make a definite species identification. Without clear pictures of the crab's big pincher, left rear walking leg, eyes and eyestalks, and antennae, a clear definite answer as to species cannot be determined.
I looked at your pictures but none of them give clear shots of any of those body parts so I doubt if you'll find anyone who is willing to hazard a guess (as that's all you can do without pictures of the necessary body parts) as to the species of your crabs.

Re: A few new guys
Well I will have to disagree with Emma on this one b/c I am guessing at what they are and most of the pics are good enough to tell even w/out the parts mentioned. The obvious one of course is the Straw as no other crab is colored liked that. The others are Indo and Viola's. The extra large BP gave it away on the Indo and the shell choice and eyes gave it away for me on the Viola's. Oh and the fact I have seen these pictures before helps me in knowing for sure that is what they are
O/T though Emma did you actually look at the pics he is referring too? He has clear shots of the BP, eye stalks, and antenna unless they were changed since you posted. Also the only time I look at the left rear walking leg is to help me determine if it is a Rug or an E and none of these guys are close to either one of those species.

Re: A few new guys
Sure, coloring in general can help you to determine species, but without having the proper parts pictured, coloring can be deceiving. I've seen PPs who are colored almost as brightly as straws and almost been convinced they were straws. I even have an E who's colored so red/orange on his legs that I'd almost be suspicious he was a PP.
Yes, I looked at his pictures and all I saw were general pictures of a crab. There were no closeups of any body part before I stopped looking and I would not have made any guess as to what the crabs were without seeing the telltale parts.
