It will not regenerate until he molts and there is no way of telling when that maybe.
I went back through some of your postings and see where he was the new one you purchased at PetSmart in what you considered horrible conditions.

PetSmart
all his legs are cut in half, from being in the petstore, and his antena also...he was also in a tank flooded with freezing cold water, and he was the only live crab i could find.he was also in a hirible painted shell that was way to small for him...he changed in a shell almost 2 times the size and fits him good!
With the 3 you had gotten from Craigs list (?) it was strongly suggested to read the PPS article and leave the hermies alone until they adjusted to their new home. In the PPS article it does state how to help the newbies adjust, as well as leaving them alone. The recommendation wasn't done:

deathbatbabe6661 There are reasons behind why some things are strongly recommended and normally they are in the hermies best interest. I would strongly recommend to iso this hermie and leave him totally alone except for offering fresh and ocean water as well as food. Him losing a pincher is not a good sign, and he definitely needs to be left alone. I went to the crab care section here, but it appears it hasn't been completely updated yet:

so I am referring to another article too:

i haven't handled spanky since i got him, and my conditions of the tank are fine, also the only reason i handled my other three was because they grew up in that tank, so it wasn't like they where fresh out of the ocean, i didn't think it would harm them. :(

None of the hermies we buy at the pet store are "Fresh out of the ocean".

Friends
deathbatbabe6661 i took them out for a bath, and they wanted to hold one.so i let them hold him...it didnt kill them how is it stressful?
ladybug15057 These hermies are new to you and are suppose to be adjusting to their new home. They should be permitted R&R until they adjust to the new noise vibrations of your home.
And if she was holding him in a proper manner, not sure how on earth a hermie would get latched onto the BACK of her jeans???? As well as latching onto ones pocket. I can only imagine the screams, loud laughter, etc. that must of went on with the 'freaking out' at the time this happened. YES, stressful to the hermie!!
Not too sure how he hasn’t been handled either with the deep clean and mite situation that was happening?

2-8-09(4:41PM)we have an addition to our crabitat! i just got back from petsmart, with my new PP.hes a medium size, well im not sure if its a he or she yet, but im thinking a he, he had mites when i got him,so i gave him a quick soke before i put him in the tat.they all seem to be getting along fine, exept i came in and miko was picking on him.lil'ol' miko!

2-8-09 I did a deep clean today! yay!
So please, at this point leave him be, for him. No picking up to check on him, moving him, or trying to feed him etc.

Unfortunately, one of my class hermit crabs lost his big claw and died soon after. I hope yours does not!
