Is it going to collapse?

Post by pattycake101 »

Squirtle has been molting for allmost two weeks now and I realized that there are little cracks shaped like a circle around where he is burried 8| , does that mean that 1. my hermies burrow is collapsing due to not moist sand or 2. he is about to come up? (?) The cracks has been there for two days now and I am scared! :'(

All I can say is to spray it down so it soaks through, maybe a few squirts of salt water would keep it from cracking anymore and if it does mean one is coming up you didn't hurt anything. I am sure the sand is wet enough. I see cracks in my sand on the sides of the tank all the time, I have never had it sink down like a collapse or anything.

Due to family issues my crabs have been adopted out to wizkidsmom (Cheryl), I know she will care for them like I did. Thanks Cheryl
