I never really had much interest i what kind i had, but now i do so does anybody know??

I am in no way an expert but I think they are PP's (purple pinchers), I am not 100% though. Do they have big purple claws? I know Petsmart around here only has PP's so that is why I know what I have are PP's.

Due to family issues my crabs have been adopted out to wizkidsmom (Cheryl), I know she will care for them like I did. Thanks Cheryl

I'm pretty sure all three are PPs. Ecuadorians have elliptical eyes, not spherical ones like the PPs have.

Maybe, I still think Boo is an E. I can't see the large claw, but his eyes are elongated and notice his "stripes" on his upper walking legs.

Quick lesson on species ID. Es have much bigger eyes than PPs like Boo has. And see the black spots on Boo. PPs have these, Es do not. Boo is a PP plain and simple. Species ID'ing is not something to be guessed at as different species have different needs and a wrong ID can be bad for a crab. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is the truth. Once again, all 3 are Purple Pincers.
