Xavi went down for a molt about a 2 weeks ago. He went down a little behind the cave. Now the crabs are inside the cave digging numerous holes. All in different places. 3 crabs share that cave, and the two large ones dig near Xavi. Its not direct, but its really close. The little one Gomez is just digging anywhere.
They have a digging spot, under the branch. But it was recently covered up, I don't know how. But it wasn't me. There isn't a crab buried there wither cause all 4 other crabs are present.
So I assumed most crabs like digging in hideaways so I removed the cave from where Xavi is, and laced "Xavi's area" with fine gravel. I hear crabs don't like to dig in gravel so yeah.
What should I do? Where they trying to dig him up?

its posable. You can get a hard and sterdy peice of cardbord and put it all the way in the sand(or what ever substrate you use) to seround the molting crab. The carbord has to be tuching the bottom of the tank and have at least 4 inches ubouve the sand (substrate). You don't have to use card bored you can use class to but I would be carful about plastick because it has sharp edges. You can buy a tank devider real cheap at petdiscounters.com but you would have to wait for it to ship to you. They sell it at pet shops and reptile shops. I hope I helped! You can pm me if you need any more help.
You can try rearranging the tank so they are not digging near her. Or get a pop bottle and cut the bottom and top. Place it around her just as pattycake states... all the way down.
Don't put gravel on top of her as the hermies will still dig where they want and then the gravel will get mixed in with your substrate.
