I have a small crab it is my brothers, she was lost for a couple of days, we finally found her but my mom and i have come to a conclusion, she is traumatized. she will not eat or drink anything, she rarely
ever comes out of her shell, and when she does it is only for a few seconds. what do i do, is she really dying??? please help! :(

Just let her destress. She could be just shy. Some of mine are like that.

That's the thing though, if she really is just shy, before he lost her she was never like that. :S

She might just be getting over the stress of it all, just make sure she has water and food really close by mayb that might encourage her to eat. Use something that they really love to eat, mine LOVE honey or organic peanut butter, the smell of something like that might entice her to eat

mine love shrimp tails. they love coconut too. I hope she destresses soon!

I agree, just leave her alone. Give her some favorite foods to get her to come out. She will then realize she has nothing to worry about and will get better.

If you found her outside of the tank, she is de-stressing. Especially if she was lost for several days. Just keep her favorite food in the dish near her and make sure she has water - salt and dechlorinated.
