Is my crab molting/gonna molt soon?

Questions about hermit crabs moulting and its symptoms.

As long as you are feeding the hermies good nutrition foods, they will not attack a molter. They will not attack a crab who just molted either. Weak, yes. vulnerable as they molt, yes. That is why you are never to dig up a molter. They stress out because some one found them.

All my molters have come up (so far, I still have two down) without any problems or deformities.
I have heard that the Ruggie species are pretty aggressive, hence the reason to keep them in a separate tank by themselves.

I showed a picture of Gilbert on another forum, and people think he is a ruggie, however his eyes melty my heart and I know he wouldn't hurt anyone.

The crabs dig, and come up and are safe? That doesn't make them vulnerable, unless the other crabs dig up molting ones. :|
If the moulter hasn't finished hardening and the others get to it, the moulter's shell can easily be stolen. Feeding them nutritional food isn't a guarantee that the moulter won't be gobbled up by its room mates. I have not found myself in such a case, but I think it's best to be safe than sorry.
