Moulting - Should I feed?

I believe both of my crabs are molting. One has been down there for a few days and the other went under the other day. Now for my question: Should I keep providing food and water daily? Do moulters come up at night to feed and drink? Or do they stay down the whole time? I can see them through the bottom of the tank and it looks as if they have not moved. Which leads me to another question: Since I can view them from under the tank is there anything I should look for to make sure they are not dead and in fact moulting?

In the early stages of the molting process you might see them moving but as time goes on you'll see the exoskeleton pieces and you won't see the crab moving anymore. You can listen out for them and sometimes hear them moving. they also push some of the sand up into a little pile above where they are molting.They don't surface until they are completely finished molting.

One i have has been molting for about two weeks in his own little tank and i keep the water in there for humidity and its there in cae he comes up. i like to keep something dried in there for him to munch on in case im not here when he comes up. i don't think he would be starving if he just ate his whole exo.

I would continure to feed, maybe just smaller amounts since hermies sometimes come up when they are burried.
