my baby hermie sponge bob (came in an annoying shell painted like sponge bob) buried himself .. i almost couldnt find him... when i finally did he only had a tiny little hole above him and my lager hermie blue was above it... im just worried that hes too covered up how can they get back out ? i just filled their tank with sand yesterday the level was way too low and now its got all they need to do this so im assuming hes molting .. if so this is my first time and im really worried about him ... how long should it take??? i feel so helpless what if he gets stuck down there and im not sure what to do with blue.. she was the one digging yesterday she dug up one whole side of the tank and did nothing but funny cause thats where spongebob ended up burring himself .. you think he was helping him? lol ok im done with the questions

I would put a plastic picture frame around SpongeBob to keep the other hermie from digging him up. if he starts digging up the molter, seperate them. Leave him alone, he won't get stuck if he burried himself in the first place. good luck!!

They just dig their way out of their little hole once they're done. You can make a barrier with a 2L pop bottle. Just cut off the bottom of the bottle. Leave the cap off. Then stick it in the sand over top of Spongebob.
