How can you tell...?

Athena went in ISO a couple days ago and she hasn't moved since yesterday afternoon. when she did come out, she just kind of spun. she couldn't get up on her toes to walk, she walked on her....knee?...i guess. if that makes sense. tonite, i checked on her and she hasn't moved. when i picked her up, she was tucked in her shell, her big claw shut, but i could move one of her feet and she didn't fight me. is she gone?

Well idk....My hermit Crabs always hid cuz there shy..but Idk it might be dieing but i realli dont have a answer for u So we can just hope that Its Ok and survies

I dont know... I have never had that happen before. I would say leave her alone and See what happens. Maybe she is just having a bad day or something.. is that even possible?

well..my hermies are realli shy n they stay n there shell alot but they well come out once and a while....U just prob have to c wht happens

Unfortunetly, I have had this happen and I ended up losing mine. I would leave her in Iso unless you smell something fishy. Hopefully she will be ok. Keeping claws crossed.

well i checked on her when i got off today and she wasn't tucked as tightly in her shell. her big claw was open and when i put a pen cap in it, it kind of closed, but not quickly...if that makes sense. unfortunately i think i'm losing her. i tried force feeding her, like wai told me to do, dried blood worms that go over extremely well with my hermies, but she wouldn't eat them. she would kind of move them away from her mouth. *sigh* this is depressing and sad...

It is like being a parent with these little guys. You feel so useless when there is something wrong and nothing you can do for them but wait and see.

thanks for your help everyone, however she passed away last night. i will take her home and adam and i will bury her.
