Switching Foods

How come my hermies aren't eating their new food? When I first got them (July 9,2006)I started feeding them the FMR Hermit Crab Treat wich was mainly fruit. Then I ran out and am now feeding them a new food that is mainly Fish Meal.They haven't eaten a bite of the new food. WHAT HAPPENED?Just wondering.Thanks whoever answers!

Next time, it really helps if you "swap" between the food you give them (eg. FRM today, Fish Meal the next, fresh fruit the day after, then noodles etc). Like us, hermit crabs like to vary their diet. Always keep them interested in trying new foods, and thus they will eat!

yes, hermies like different things all the time. Mine LOVE it wwhen i bring home some crab shells for them from like, sea food resturaunts.
