Microclimate EVO help

Hello!

Has anyone got any experience with a Microclimate EVO?

I recently received mine and straight out of the box I plug it on and the screen lights up but is totally not responsive to my touch.

I bought this online and before I return to them and have them send me a new one which is going to take a month, I just want to make sure that I am not doing anything wrong, like being stuck in the "lock mode" or something.

Can anyone shed some light?
