I am wanting to know should meat be given raw or cooked?

You can give it either way, I just prefer to cook it due to salmonella and other nasties which is not lethal for crabs, but for humans; it is. :)

I've never had any problems with 'Impulse Buying'. They're just animals that I forgot I had planned to get.

Beef is also at risk for e. coli - it's not necessarily present in healthy beef (just like salmonella isn't in healthy chickens) but if it got into your tank it could sicken you.

I feed raw whenever possible. Even cooked meat will spoil quite quickly in the crabitat.
