shell changing
Does shell changin in crabs (in their natural habitat have anything to do with availability and terrain.Like camoflouge? The colors of shells sort of match a terrain they live in,would the said crab be more apt to pick that shell or one that is a particular kind of shell like a turbo?I have lived near a beach in florida, not alot of shells like people would think.Sometimes after a storm.I also read an article about baby crabs living in trees. Is this true?Would that crab be more apt to pick a dasrker colored shell? Can they see colors at all to see color of shell.I guess that is more than one question.
