Can you give us a link to the web site? A google for Tropicshell gives me all kinds of other websites but I don't see any with hermit crabs for sale right off the bat.

Often the way a website looks, how much information the owner is willing to give, and how unprofessional/professional it looks can give you an idea of whether they might be something worth trying. But keep in mind you are always taking a chance when you order online.

Doing a search it appears this is as said, a wholesale site which means they sell in bulk. I do not see where they have hermies listed for sale? But in the search it brought up Fiddler crabs?

To try to see more, as in "Click here to sum up this website" it wants one to create an account... the top says: "the editable guide to websites"

So IMO I would steer clear of this place.

They do list hermit crabs, but it's wholesale only, a minimum of 50 per order. So not viable.

There is a link as well to another hermit crab forum, which makes me question that forum's dedication to the well being of hermit crabs, if they are "advertising" (linked) on a website that sells hermit crabs in painted shell, especially in bulk. You would assume those who really care for hermit crabs would boycott such a website.
