Different pet stores, different species?
Ive only been to one petco for my hermie's and all i really see around are PP'S. Do you think other petco's or pet stores have other species also? I'm soo ready for other species!

It really depends on the individual store. I have only seen Es at one Petco (where I got mine), one non-chain "Mom and Pop" type store, and actually once at the Petsmart here. It depends - sometimes if you ask, they can order some Es for you.

Looking back at your recent postings I would like to strongly recommend to get your crabitat perimeters in order, as well as an iso prior to considering purchasing any other hermies. A crabitat with criteria being met is so important for the health and welfare of all species of hermies.

Re: Different pet stores, different species?
Marie (Ladybug) is so right. The thing about PP's is they are the easiest to care for. Any other species is going to require more strict parameters. Equadorians are the next most common species you will find, and they MUST have ocean salt water as well as their fresh dechlor water. NO option there. Any other species (which will be much harder to find as the rarer species are limited by some heavy exotic animal restrictions I believe) will definitely need rigid standards, and should only be owned by very experienced crabbers.
It is so fun to have E's in the tank, they are much more active. Please do make sure your tank parameters are all in order first, THEN think about finding some more to add to it, otherwise, you just condemn them to a slow death, sorry to say.

6 hermit crabs - 3 PPs and 3 Equadorians
