My crabs got 3 roses and some strawberry leaves for dinner.

thats a very pretty dinner. i think my crabs prefer the fresh stuff over alot of the freeze dried things. i gave them beef yeterday and they ate every last piece. but if i give them dried meat like chicken they stick thier noses up like,"where's the warm fresh stuff?"

Have you tried rehydrating the dried items? Warm up some dechlored or salt water, put the items in to soak for 5-10 minutes then drain.

they do like the dried chicken and veggies when theyre rehdrated. just not as much as the fresh stuff. what they really don't like are the prepared meals for bearded dragons. they eat the mealworms and leave everything else.

Perhaps the dried food tastes funny or gives off an unpleasant odour? Fresh food will of course taste better and look more appealing to them.

I've not tasted the dried meats, I do snack on the fruits when I'm bagging them LOL My husband likes the apricots the most so I have to hide those. The pineapple is the best IMO, it's divine.
