ok which salt?

ok im really confused...i was looking at the different types of salt that i should buy. and i found one that is called aquarium salt.. which is only 4.99. but than i saw instant ocean for 16.99. so i guess what im wondering is why is one more expensive than the other? and is it ok for me to get just the regular aquarium salt?

Aquarium salt does not make saltwater. Aquarium salt is for freshwater. It's pretty confusing . I would say Instant Ocean would be the best. I think there's salt just for hermit crabs also.

Instant Ocean, Oceanic, they are all good. Hermit crab salts are BAD FOR THEM!

Recently there has been a test on the salt mixes sold for hermies. (In the U.S.)
The salt mixes sold directed at hermies (the zoomed part 2 and hbh...aka JurrassiPet Hermit Safe 100ml in Aus....both of which are not recommended) when mixed per the package instructions do not register any salinity on the hydrometer.

I have done a search and was not able to locate what I was looking for and hope to find help here. I realize that in U.S. we have quite a few ocean/sea mixes available which are not available in Australia. Could somebody please share with me what ocean/sea salt mixes are safe for hermies and how they are mixed please? TIA.
