Oh and about daniel ( the crab) i have had him for nearly a year now. does that help?

when did he last molt?
Were you able to make the changes to your tank that were suggested? Let us know each one, I know it's a lot to list, but it will help us help you.
Also, one more thing, if you have a crab that is acting strangely, I would not take him out of the tank and handle him or play with him. he may be ill and needs as little stress as possible.

Daniel has not ever molted, and i have been kepping up with the changes of the tank, but im still seeing no differnce.
