I have had blood worms before and they seem to really like them. Not sure about the gel stuff.

I hope that mine will like them. I'm getting a bunch of stuff shipped to me next week. Lots of food and toys. :D

Haha nice! I'm always keeping an eye out for toys and things, because the tank is pretty bare at the moment :(. If i have something in there that is plastic, like a bouncy ball or something, is it safe as long as they dont start eating it? I have a few plastic things here that I was planning to boil and put in, just hoping they're safe when not eaten lol

Ive seen lots of plastic toys and coated things in tanks for them to play on. if you catch them munching on it i would take it out. i had to do that with my jungle vine. eugene started snacking on it even though he had fresh food in his shell to eat.

As for the polenta, im pretty sure if you make it yourself without seasonings that the crabs can't have you should be able to give it to them. its basically ground corn. if u made it with sea salt in sure they'd enjoy it.

Yeah, I'm sure that the plastic things will be fine. Just keep an eye on them. I hope that they'll like their new toys. My tank is the complete opposite, it's too clutered. I might be getting a new tank this week or new. Possibly a new hermit crab addition too!

At a Wal-mart near by, they have micros. Yeah, I know about Wal-marts. This one isn't too bad, because the crabs are in an actual TANK. They're really cute. I want a micro so bad.

Haha, I'd love to get more hermies as well, but I have to be good and get these ones to survive for a while yet. Micros? They extra small?

Planning to go out home to my parents for the weekend, but not sure if I should take Greg and Gordie on the trip. It's only a 2 hour drive, and I don't trust the 2 boys I live with to look after them, even for a couple of nights haha

Yeah, micros are really tiny. They look so cute! XD

They should be fine if you take them with you. They might get a little stressed out, but I've heard of people taking them on trips with them.

Hehe, if you do get any micro ones, take some pics beside a ruler or something so I can see how tiny they are :D.

Yeah, i'd say the trip would stress them, but i'm basically just going to lift their tank and take the whole thing with me when i go. And it'll be nighttime when I travel, so I might keep them covered just to help with the stress a little... damn living with unhygenic boys :(
