what kind of food is it? check the label for Ethoxyquin. My firend (who HAD the crabs) had this fruit mix, it smells great and it is organic!!

i can check when i get home but it's a teal green label that says "Land Hermit Crab Food" in black letters on the front.

it doesn't have that long E word in it. just basic foods like corn meal and some other stuff. they seem to like it bc i noticed a definite decrease in food this morning.

i thought so. i need to replace it today though. some of their bought food smells awful. like dog and cat food. yuck

the tank smells like bad food or the food it self. i hate it when i feed them shrimp and it starts stinking after 1 day.

I bought some plankton for them and freeze dried shrimp and it stinks yuk
