potential problem

well i hadn't changed the water in a week bc of how close lemi was to it. before when he dug there, we picked up the pond and he had a huge hole under the pond. he just looked at us. lol. but since i changed the water, the smell has gone away. thank you for the advice!

i don't know. I change mine every 2-5 days, deepending on how much sand gets in it!

this is so true! a lot of the sand usually gets in the ponds during the night. wendy loves the water, so i'm thinking she's the one. lol

I buy the bottled salt water from PetSmart. It is made specially for hermit crabs. My girls seem to love it. I have had no problem with smell and ther is no mixing involved. It's as easy as opening a bottle of drinking water. It runs about $4/bottle but is worth it. One bottle last about a week and half.

hmm, that sounds good! It owuld be nicer if it were $2 a bottle, lol, but $4 is okay.
