So after buying the tap water conditioner i went to Safeway (Woolworths) to get some shopping and what do i see in the water aisle but a huge bottle of pure distilled drinking water so i dont need the conditioner any more im glad i got the tiny $6 bottle lol...The distilled water was under $5 and is 5litres...It didn't show up on the online shop section under distilled water only ironing water showed up which is annoying...

If this is what you find works for you, go for it, but I have a tiny bottle of Prime water conditioner that has lasted me over two years for both my crabs and fish.

Yes they do last quite a while but i would prefer pure water over adding something to the water...its a bit easier too as i dont have to do measurements well at least for their fresh water pool.
