I just don't see the point of resurrecting threads that are over a month or so old - especially if the questions have been answered or the topic has been dead for ages, you know? I don't really mind if you say something like 'wow, that's a really awesome colored crab!' but what's the point of answering an already answered question (that's been answered for a while)? You know, something like this:
Person 1: What kind of crab is this?
[some discussion]
Person 2: Your crab is type X.
Person 1: Thanks!
[a month goes by]
Person 3: Your crab is type X!
Person 1: What kind of crab is this?
[some discussion]
Person 2: Your crab is type X.
Person 1: Thanks!
[a month goes by]
Person 3: Your crab is type X!
