Is there any other way to pervent shell fights besides having as many shells as there are hermies? I have three crabbies and three shells that are slightly larger (and in Kennys case slightly smaller because his shell is to big) then the ones there in. Is this the only way to pervent shell and other fights?

You should put in more shells, at least two spare shells for each hermit crab you have. Another way is to put all the crabs in separate tanks, but this is really silly because they'll get lonely. I can't think of any other way to prevent shell fights.
