chipped shell..?

hi, i brought a compressus from a pet shop. he is the most aggressive among the crowd, which obviously had make me pick him.

when i got him home, i noticed that the shell on one of his limb is chipped (i dont know what you called them but its on the elbow (?) ).. is that bad for him?


pls pls reply.. i know that its not brown spots

Is it like a crack or is part of his leg missing? Could you post us a pic? Upload it at the photo gallery under C. compressus and give us the link to the page.

i agree. it'll be easier to "diagnose" if there is a pic to look at.

unfortunately, i dont have digicam *|,

im also not a native english speaker, so ill try my best to describe it..

i think its getting worse.. from chipped to becoming a hole..

try imagine an egg shell, where you punch a small hole on it with a pencil lead but u dont break it.. it is like that on my hermies leg, and i think its getting larger. i could even see the muscle beneath the exoskeleton..
