Help first molt

Post by craby_girl77 »

I just found out that my first straw has just molted and is now just waiting for his new exo to harden. I just put him in iso to day and gave him fresh and salt water and food what else can I do if anything. I am freaking out about this right now. 8| 8|

Keep it dark, in good conditions. And he has his exo with him right? Cause he needs to eat it. Annndd..try not to bother him much, just so there is no stress. He'll probably be fine tho :)

they know what they're doing more than we do lol. i'm sure he'll be fine too. molting is very stressful for them. like everyone stated above, keep it dark and humid. make sure that you have cuttlebone or somethign with lots of calcium in it, and plenty of salt water in there. that will help his new exo

Do you have egg shells in there? If not you could place some in there. It will help them to harden faster.
