I thought I would list the foods my crabs find as favorites and see what kinds your crabs seem to like. Maybe we can find new foods our crabs like.

Well I tried to do that as a poll question but it didn.t work. Here are my crabs favorites: unsalted crackers, egg shells, romaine lettuce, pecan pieces, and chicken.

lol, my crabs like anothing really. i don't think they like carrots that much. or cellery!

Mine like apple, walnuts, mango, shrimp, raisins. They ate a dead African Dwarf Frog in one night. Maple leaves, oak leaves, and Russian olive leaves. Waterchestnut (against my better judgement I did feed it from a can, but you can find them in frozen stirfry veggie packs without risking the metal). They made a beeline to the food dish at mid-day when I fed fresh crabapple blossoms. They eat on their cholla climbing toys constantly. Oh, and HONEY!

Mine like salten Crackers Rasien Peanut butter Crab cakes n more LoL i didnt know they can eat Maple n oat Leaves i GOt a BUNCH in my yard ill have to go get some

You should feed them non salted crackers our salt can hurt them.

What are the crabcakes? are they comercail food by Tetra? i know i have tried Tetra's crab cakes and they aren't really good for hermit crabs. They have Ethoxyquin in them (http://www.crabbytalk.com/?p=95 and here: http://narscrabjournal.blogspot.com/200 ... er-hc.html)
