hi everyone,

hope you had a good chirstmas.

i got a new ornament from my mum and it has glue on it.
it is a brige that you can buy from Pet City.

Help me!

The glue sounds like it could be silicone, or it could be a bit of resin. I wouldn't worry too much, if made for aquariums, it's likely not to be non-toxic (leech in the water) so it should be fine to be within the tank.


Any pics of it?

I've never had any problems with 'Impulse Buying'. They're just animals that I forgot I had planned to get.

I agree with aussieJJDude; the glue is mostly likely made of either resin or silicon.

Hot glue doesn't really hold up in water, but I have seen it used in some aquatic decor before. It's more used as a way to 'wedge' plastic plants or light decor to a weight. But it is safe, just likely to fall apart rather quickly unless its more of a 'filler' rather than 'glue".
