Lighting
I was looking at lighting for hermit crabs and all I could find were expensive terrarium hoods. I was thinking I could get rgb strip lights for cheaper that would provide a better glow and look. Can I use an rgb light strip to light my hermit crab tank? (10gallon tank with 1-3 hermit crabs)

Re: Lighting
Hello, and welcome to the HCP!
Yes, those are definitely an option! I have used these before and they worked great, but I have now replaced them with stronger lighting, as that is what I desired. I recommend putting them outside of the tank, they may eventually start to malfunction due to the heat and humidity. These strips are often sticky on the backside, and I put them onto my glass top by taping them down so they shine inside the tank.
I hope this helps, good luck!
