Double layers?
Hello, my name is Jimmy and I am working on my crabitat to make it the best home for my crabs. I started out with a 17x36 inch 65 gallon tank. Struggled keeping humidity until I started using a humidifier. My substrate is Flukers hermit beach sand ..I have about a 7 inch dearth and top layer is drying out as it come sand castle wet already. Can I put a 2 inch layer coconut fiber from exo earth to keep the bottom substrate always sandcastle moist for molting purposes?

You can certainly add some EE if you want to add moisture to the tank. Just ensure when wetting the EE, use dechlorinated water to make it crab safe.
