Getting pinched
Okay, can someone please give me a good answer as to how badly it hurts to be pinched by a hermit crab? I know this sounds dumb, but I am afraid of being pinched by my crabs! I want them to be handle-able, but I am afraid of the pinch; especially from my jumbos whose pincher claws are as big as my thumb! I have only held them on my palm with a glove on because I was too scared. One site will say it doesn't hurt, then another will say it feels like getting a shot! I pick them up, yes, but I won't let them on my palm because I am a big chicken! Please tell me any tips on how to get them used to it and how bad it hurts if they do pinch. Thanks!

Thank you! I did use the search box, but seemed to get so many that had the phrase "in a pinch" and I was having trouble weeding through them. Again, thanks!
