I have already contacted the adoption agency suggested by this forum, they haven't gotten back to me and its been over a week. Please do not redirect me there.
I need to find a home for my crab in the state of California. I am leaving in less than a week and will be driving up the entire state most likely up the 5 free way on September 18th.
If you are able to meet me on this day please let me know. I may also be able to meet on the 20th of September (they are driving back down the 5 on this day), but another member of my family will have to meet you because I will not be with them.
If you think you could potentially adopt my crab please let me know, I care dearly for him and his well-being, and will go out of my way to make sure he has a super duper home.
I can provide more details through email if needed. Please email be at allysonburkholder@gmail.com
Thanks! I have been looking for a home for him for a while now with no luck and this is the last place I can think of to find a home for him.

You can also try advertising on Craigslist if you haven't found a home for your hermie. Wish I lived in Cali, I would take him! Good luck!
Also, try contacting that adoption site you mentioned again, perhaps some snafu happened. Remember, these websites are monitored and run by people (volunteers!) like us, who have jobs and busy lives, and unfortunately they can't monitor everything 24/7 and glitches do happen. It might be a good idea, just in case something happened and they never received your application (darn computers!).

Re: Free Hermie needs home
I am the owner of the Hermit Crab Adoption Center that is also referred to from here at HCP. I have checked my records and there has not been any adoptee form or an e-mail received from allysonburkholder@gmail.com I do check e-mails a few times a day, and do have folders for all forms and e-mails for the adoption center.I have already contacted the adoption agency suggested by this forum, they haven't gotten back to me and its been over a week.
