Bigger Aquarium Needed

Post by tomtru »

I'm in SERIOUS need of a bigger tank. The problem is the only available tanks are either waaay out of my budget or they're clear across the country. I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and need at least a 55 gallon aquarium.

That one would be hard. There is a place called http://www.hoobly.com with big tanks that are really cheap. They might be across the country but they could be shipped.

Try Craig's List

Hi,

Sorry you're having trouble finding a new tank. Go to

http://www.craigslist.org

It is a kind of free-classifieds site that has many local sub-sites. I saw Houston and Austin on there when skimming, so maybe one of them or another lists your area.

You can search for stuff, and you can post for wanted stuff as well. It's free for a seven day listing, as many as you want. Be careful, though, as there are alot of what my husband calls "bottom feeders." They want everything for free, OR they want to sell you useless junk for a sky-high premium. Which isn't to say there aren't a lot of really good bargains on it! You might get lucky and find a free tank with a small crack that can't be used for fish anymore but is hermie safe!

Good luck and happy hunting.
